System Design and Installation

VESBO INCOLA Soundproof Piping Systems are developed for discharge of wastewater within
the buildings and are compatible with conventional sewage pipes. VESBO INCOLA pipes are
produced in a wide range of dimensions according to EN 1451-1.

5.1 System Design and Necessary Conditions

Since the connecting ends of the pipes and fittings are resistant to a maximum of
0.5 bar of internal hydrostatic pressure, they are used in lines with no pressure.

VESBO INCOLA pipe and fittings, withstand operating temperatures of up to 95°C
(long-term) and 110°C (short-term). The system should not be used to carry wastes
that contain petroleum based solvents, ketones and acetates.

VESBO INCOLA Soundproof Piping Systems is suitable for the transportation of
wastewater with a “pH” range of 2 to 12.

In order to avoid the formation of high pressure and vacuum points in pipelines,
pipes and fittings should be calibrated in such a way that inner volume should not
                            be filled completely.

VESBO INCOLA pipes have very low thermal expansion coefficient. However, to
ensure pipeline safety, the difference between the maximum temperature of the
wastewater and the minimum temperature of the pipes to be installed should be
taken into consideration when connecting pipes and fittings.

Extra measures should be taken to avoid external forces on connection points.
