INCOLA Soundproof Piping Systems
5.2 Installation
5.2.1 Cutting the Pipes
1. VESBO INCOLA pipes can be cut by using a rotary pipe cutter or a sharp saw which has a
thin cutter head.
2. Cracks or breaks on the cut piece must be carefully checked after the cutting process.
3. Pressure should not be applied on the pipe while cutting to prevent it from getting deformed.
4. Pipes should be cut at a 90° angle to the pipe axis.
5. For the ease of installation and to avoid slipping of the gasket, chamfering to pipe edges
(approximately15°) is recommended.
